Generation VI starters

Okay i ve been pretty excited about today's revelations so i kinda thought it would be proper to enter the hype frenzy everyone has been in and post a journal with some minor analysis on the designs and concepts of the Pokémon featured in the awesome trailer... so without any further ado...

Chespin: Woah Nintendo u managed to break the reptile exclusive section and introduce a mammal instead... A chestnut combined with what seems to be a hedgehog/porcupine... looks a bit like a regional rodent, having normal as its main type but i can't complain... i like how the chesrnut hat/hood gives it a grass feel which could lead to a promising evo line... i see its last stage to be a quadraped but then again i  may be wrong... anyways liking it for its innovative mammalian nature.

Fennekin: a canine creature based on a dessert fox <3 it's so freaking cute... Nintendo followed the chinese zodiac thingie once more with a dog subspecie... i love the fluff coming out of its ears and the pattern on it forehead... i suspect a dark or psychic evolution since foxes have always been seen as magical/sinister creatures in most cultures eg. Kitsune. Plus in the trailer it appeared to be using psywave/ confusion further indicating that aspect... then again it could stay pure fire, i mean oshawott stayed a pure water type all along. At least it doesn't lead anywhere close to fighting... hooray!

Froakie: at last a frog starter... cute and promising design... it seems that it has a foam cloak/backpack indicating that it may be based on en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa…  a harmless cute little creature... i don't see it becoming a poison type, could be wrong of course.. it looks so innocent to become a vile venom secreting betch... they may play with the foam/bubble theme a bit  more though flying as a secondary type looks a bit farfetched for a frog... on second thought there are/have been species that could glide en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying… ... anyways i am really liking the bored sorta look it has.
